Interiors that carry your name

A space says something about a company before anyone speaks. We plan the layout around how people will move and sit, then choose materials, light and detail so the room feels like the brand that owns it. Timber, stone, metal, fabric and light are all worked by our own craftsmen, which is how a drawing turns into a finished room without losing anything on the way.

Recent interiors include the Royal Hospitality tent for Bahrain at the Formula 1 in Malaysia, a visitor hub for Bahrain tourism, a lounge for Mumtalakat with timber slat walls, framed art and warm lighting, and the hospitality space for GFH at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Showrooms, retail and kiosks

Retail spaces have to sell as well as look good. We have fitted out jewellery shops with custom display cabinets and lighting that makes gold read properly, and built mall kiosks and digital totems that work in a crowded walkway. Khaleeji's digital totem and the BisB mall booths are recent examples.

Because the same team builds our exhibition stands, we are used to tight deadlines and to working in malls and public spaces around their opening hours.

Traditional and modern detail

Bahraini clients often want both: a modern space with a nod to local craft. Our engineers and craftsmen work in traditional patterns and joinery as easily as in clean modern lines, so a majlis detail or a mashrabiya screen can sit naturally next to LED and glass.

How we work

How a Clavis project runs

The brief

We listen, walk the venue and come back with a concept and visuals, so you can see the night before anything is built.

The build

Carpentry, metalwork, print and finishing are done by our own craftsmen. Nothing waits on a supplier.

The install

Our crew installs, lights and rehearses everything on site, usually while the rest of the city sleeps.

The last light

We run the show from the control desk, then take it all down and hand the venue back spotless.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Do you design interiors or build them too?

Both. We design the space and our own craftsmen build and finish it, including joinery, furniture, lighting and branding.

What kinds of interiors do you work on?

Lounges and reception areas, showrooms, jewellery and retail shops, hospitality spaces, exhibition spaces and mall kiosks.

Do you build mall kiosks?

Yes. We design and build retail kiosks, pop ups and digital totems, including recent work for Khaleeji and BisB.

Can you combine traditional Bahraini design with a modern space?

Yes. Our craftsmen work in traditional patterns and joinery as well as modern materials, and many of our clients ask for both.

How do we start an interior project?

Send us the floor plan or the address, photos of the current space, what the space needs to do and your timing. We will visit, measure and come back with a concept.

Do you work outside Bahrain?

Yes. Clavis is based in Bahrain and delivers projects in Bahrain and abroad. We design and build here, then ship, install and run the work on site wherever the event is.
