Event management in Bahrain

National celebrations, opening ceremonies, car launches and brand activations. Clavis plans the night, builds what you see and runs it live, with one team from the first sketch to the final bow.

One team for the whole night

Most big events in Bahrain are pieced together from five or six suppliers: one for the stage, one for the screens, one for the décor, and somebody in the middle chasing all of them. Clavis was set up in 2019 to work the other way. Concept, design, fabrication, installation and the live show sit with one team, so the person who drew the stage is the same person standing next to it on the night.

That matters most when the brief is big. The 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter needed a stadium show, a procession of flags and classic cars, live performances and a drone display that drew 25 over the crowd. The 3rd Asian Youth Games in 2025 needed an opening night worthy of athletes from across Asia, and a broadcast studio to cover the Games. A car launch needs something different again: a reveal that lands on the exact beat, in front of the people who will write about it.

Events we produce

National occasions and anniversaries, where scale and protocol both have to be right. Opening and closing ceremonies for sport, culture and education. Car launches and product reveals, from MG and Genesis to BMW, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce. Brand activations in malls and public spaces that turn shoppers into a crowd. Gala dinners, award nights and corporate celebrations. School and youth events, where the audience is young and the parents are watching.

Every brief starts with the same question: what should people remember on the drive home? The answer decides the stage, the screens, the running order and the budget, in that order.

Built by our own craftsmen

The sets, stages, kiosks and décor at a Clavis event are built by our own team of craftsmen and engineers, people who work in traditional Bahraini detailing as comfortably as in steel, acrylic and LED. Keeping the build in house means we control the finish and the timing. When a venue changes a load in time or a client changes a colour two days out, the people who can fix it are already ours.

On the day, we run the show from the control desk: cues, lighting, screens, sound, talent and the guest flow. When the last guest leaves, the same crew takes everything down and hands the venue back clean.

How we work

How a Clavis project runs

The brief

We listen, walk the venue and come back with a concept and visuals, so you can see the night before anything is built.

The build

Carpentry, metalwork, print and finishing are done by our own craftsmen. Nothing waits on a supplier.

The install

Our crew installs, lights and rehearses everything on site, usually while the rest of the city sleeps.

The last light

We run the show from the control desk, then take it all down and hand the venue back spotless.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What kinds of events does Clavis organise?

National celebrations and anniversaries, opening ceremonies, car launches, brand activations, gala dinners, award nights, school and youth events. Recent work includes the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter, the opening of the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain and the MG7 launch.

Do you build the stage and décor yourselves?

Yes. Our own craftsmen and engineers build the sets, stages, kiosks and décor. That keeps the finish and the timeline in our hands rather than spread across subcontractors.

Do you work with government entities?

Yes. Our client list includes the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Electricity and Water Authority and Bahrain Customs, alongside banks, carmakers and telecom companies.

What do you need from us to prepare a proposal?

The date, the venue if you have one, the expected number of guests, what the event needs to achieve, a rough budget and your brand guidelines. A short call or a WhatsApp message is enough to start.

How early should we get in touch?

As soon as you have a date. Big builds need time for design, approvals and fabrication, so an early call gives you more options and better prices on equipment and talent.

Do you work outside Bahrain?

Yes. Clavis is based in Bahrain and delivers projects in Bahrain and abroad. We design and build here, then ship, install and run the work on site wherever the event is.
